Online dating, in my opinion, is the most advanced way to meet Christian singles and the major benefit is that it forces both sides to communicate by sharing their thoughts, feelings, interests, and so on.

 

 I’m sure you have heard the expression love makes a fool of us all.   Well it doesn’t have to be that way if we just take the time and the opportunity that it requires to get to know someone before we jump into a situation that we will regret the rest of our life.   If a person is worth marrying then surely they’re worth getting to know.  

 

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?  and what communion hath light with darkness?

 

As Christians, we have all heard through the scriptures:  2Corinthians 6:15 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?  and what communion hath light with darkness?

 

 I truly believe that many of the Christian singles today have hardened their hearts in regards to being equally yoked.   In asking, a group of singles at a church meet if they had heard about the scripture most all answered with “Yah I have!”  and I was left with the impression that to be equally yoked was out of date, not necessary, or was limiting their selection of available singles.

 

I am concerned about the attitude that some of our brothers and sisters have in regards to being equally yoked.    All I can say to all who feel that way is shame on you!   Unequally yoked to me is like a man jumping off a cliff and believing he will grow wings before he hits the ground.   Being equally yoked is not out of date, it is necessary, and will bring unlimited Joy into your marriage and life.  

 

 Find Singles in Ministry greatest desire is to see all of the Lord’s children enjoy the blessing of a marriage that is equally yoked.   We encourage you to wait upon the Lord.   Be like the wise man and take your time.   Don’t rush into situations where even angels fear tread.   Make getting to know the person your first priority and falling in love the last priority.
